Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q8200 2.33GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.3GHzĭescription: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) System Manufacturer: MICRO-STAR INTERNATIONAL CO.,LTD 1 Unplug the headphone jack plug with the computer still running. Language: English (Regional Setting: English) I checked all the obvious setting and nothing sound related had changed in Device Manager. If I unplug then replug the headset/mic, I don't get the "Hardware Detected" popup, which makes me think that the jack ports are not being "seen" by the system. Realtek HD Audio Manager LOOKS like it sees the headphone and mic, but no sound is coming through. I deleted then reinstalled my sound drivers. The problem is system wide, but I thought I would ask here in case anyone had suggestions.Īt first, it wasn't recognizing that my headphone were plugged in or that I had front jacks. Something odd happened overnight and my sound has quit working. ![]()
